Tikus B'day

Yo guys! I usually don't do this... but Tikus's birthday often overlooked.

Tikus's birthday paaaartaaay was held on Saturday night at Bukit Tinggi Zhen Zhen Hao (Ketam) steamboat restaurant. (Note: not Wei Wei Hao or Hao Zhen Zhen... steamboat restaurants got different combos of the name in the area. Confused linpeh for quite a while!)

Later adjourned to KTV somewhere over there too. Don't know if the other guys took photos.

It's a good evening to paaaartaaay! Enroute to Bukit Tinggi.

Got friends visit from afar, isn't that very happy? -- Confucius (Kong Zi)

Lim Song Hiang, a.k.a. Songkao, and Goh Siok Foon, a.k.a. Mrs Lim Song Hiang, a.k.a. Mrs Songkao paid us Singkids a visit last Sat! They came from M'sia, after they returned from the US. I think the last time I saw either one of them was 2 years ago, so I was pleasantly surprised.

We went to the Ichiban Boshi Restaurant at The Esplanade. Most of the Singkids came! We were quite a large crowd, the only MIAs being Hooi Hoon and Zhi Sueh. New to our family were Karen's boyfriend James (pictured), and Kok Hui's girlfriend (not pictured). We chatted non-stop from the restaurant to the theatre lobby, then to the cafe. A lot of news/gossip updates: How Joo involved in a motor accident, stock tips, me becoming Christian (praise God!), Siew Hui got cut by a waffer (not the edible type), the Lim's weird encounter with the M'sia Registry of Marriage, dating tips, etc etc etc...

It was a great night. Can't think of another occasion we have this many Singkids since our Christmas BBQ in Dec 2004. Sure, the island is small... but it's just so hard to meet up these days. We need another excuse to get toghether. Somebody better graduate soon, or get married! :P
